SHANELLE MONTANA

Shanelle is a powerhouse in the renewable energy sector and also a trailblazer in the spirits industry. In 2013, she co-founded Du Nord Social Spirits with her husband, Chris Montana. In 2014, as President of the Minnesota Distillers Guild, she changed the game in Minnesota, successfully lobbying to allow micro-distilleries to sell craft cocktails. And yes, Du Nord Social Spirits proudly opened the first licensed cocktail room in the Twin Cities!

In 2020, Covid shut down that cocktail room, but Shanelle is thrilled to open its spiritual successor, the Du Nord Cocktail Room, as well as Lagniappe, a New Orleans inspired restaurant, in the historic Coliseum Building.
